Our Prosthetic Fitting Process

1. Clinical evaluation. We assess the residual limb, your general health, activity goals, and any specific challenges (skin condition, muscle strength, balance) before recommending a prosthetic type.

2. Socket design and casting. The socket — the part that contacts your residual limb — is the single most important factor in comfort and control. We custom-cast and design each socket individually; an off-the-shelf fit simply doesn't work for prosthetics.

3. Component selection. Depending on your activity level and needs, we fit modular below-knee or above-knee prosthetic systems, hip disarticulation prosthetics, or upper-limb prosthetics — including options for sports-specific and cosmetic restoration prosthetics.

4. Fitting and gait training. A prosthetic isn't ready the moment it's built — walking with it is a learned skill. We work with patients through the gait-training process until movement feels natural and confident.
